PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: September 2, 2026

TypeBeatDeals ("we," "us," or "our") operates typebeatdeals.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

TypeBeatDeals is an independent coupon and deal directory. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by BeatStars, Airbit, Traktrain, or any producer or marketplace listed on this Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Email address, when you subscribe to our deal alerts
  • Deal/coupon details you submit through our "Submit a Deal" form (which may include a name, email, or social handle you choose to include)

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected via cookies, analytics tools, or similar technologies

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send you emails about new or expiring coupon codes and deals (only if you subscribed)
  • Review and publish user-submitted coupon codes
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site secure, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

Types of cookies we use:

  • Necessary cookies — Required for core Site features such as authentication sessions and fraud-prevention (hCaptcha on the "Submit a Deal" form). These cannot be disabled without breaking those features.
  • Functional cookies — Help us remember interface preferences and keep your experience consistent. Stored in your browser or localStorage.
  • Analytics cookies — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) by Google LLC to analyze site traffic, performance, and user engagement. Analytics cookies (such as _ga) are only written and stored on your device after you give explicit consent by selecting "Accept all" on our cookie banner. We do not load advertising or marketing cookies.

Cookieless telemetry & default state:

Even before or in the absence of explicit consent, limited, anonymous, cookieless telemetry pings are transmitted by default so we can accurately measure general pageviews and site usage. These pings do not write or store cookies or other identifiers on your device and cannot be used to recognize or track you personally.

Third-party services that may set cookies:

  • hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.) — loaded on the "Submit a Deal" form for spam and abuse protection. hCaptcha may use device and browser-level signals, including fingerprinting, to tell humans and bots apart. Its privacy and cookie practices are governed by hCaptcha's own privacy policy.
  • Supabase / Lovable Cloud — used for auth, database, and hosting; essential for sign-in and admin features.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., email delivery, hosting, analytics)
  • Authorities, if required to do so by law

5. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party sites (such as BeatStars, Airbit, Traktrain, individual producer stores, Splice, and other producer tool vendors). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

6. Third-Party Channel Information

For producer-related listings, the Site may display publicly available YouTube channel information — such as a channel avatar, channel name, and subscriber count — retrieved via the YouTube Data API.

This channel information is linked to listings by community members. It may not reflect an official association between the channel owner and the listing unless the listing is explicitly marked "Verified Producer."

Channel owners who believe their channel has been incorrectly linked to a listing may request a review or removal by contacting us at: hello@typebeatdeals.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

8. Your Choices

  • Unsubscribe: Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us to be removed.
  • Access/deletion requests: Contact us at the email below to request access to or deletion of your personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes.
